Permanent Virtual Circuit.

SAP

Service Access Point.

Semi-Octet

Four bits, one hexadecimal digit.

Subnetwork Point of Attachment.

Type Of Address/Numbering Plan Identification. An address format that provides increased addressing capacity suitable for communication with ISDNs.
