This document discusses SGI GenomeCluster, release 1.0, running on SGI 1100, SGI 1200, SGI 1400, or SGI 1450 systems. It assumes that one of the following Linux operating systems has already been installed on the systems in your cluster.

The Load Sharing Facility (LSF) supports the following Linux operating systems:

This release also supports SGI ProPack for Linux version 1.4. By using SGI ProPack, you can avoid rebuilding the kernel for use with some products.
